ตะกรุดที่อาศัยอำนาจคุณพระรัตนตรัยและพุทธมนต์ในการปัดเป่าป้องกันโรคภัยไข้เจ็บต่างๆที่เชื่อกันว่าเกิดจากอำนาจที่มองไม่เห็น (จากคติโบราณที่เชื่อว่าโรคบางชนิด มีภูตผีปีศาจสิงสถิตอยู่) รวมไปถึงการชักจูงนำใจให้ผู้บูชาแคล้วคลาดปลอดภัยจากโรคภัยที่อาจเกิดขึ้นในภายภาคหน้า อย่างเช่นว่า ปกติชอบกินอาหารสุกๆดิบๆ พอห้อยตะกรุดแล้วก็รู้สึกว่าไม่อยากกินของเหล่านั้นอีกเป็นต้น

พระพุทธภาษิตที่กล่าวว่า “อโรคยา ปรมา ลาภา” ความไม่มีโรค เป็นลาภอันประเสริฐ เป็นความจริงยิ่งกว่าความจริงใดๆ เพราะสุขภาพเป็นปัจจัยพื้นฐานแห่งชีวิตและความสำเร็จ เมื่อคนเราไม่เจ็บไม่ป่วยแล้วไซร้ จะคิดทำอะไรก็ได้ดั่งใจ อยากทำสิ่งใดก็สามารถลงมือทำได้สำเร็จ แต่ถ้ามัวแต่เจ็บป่วยอยู่ ก็คงไม่อาจจะทำได้กิจใดให้ลุล่วงได้ ทั้งยังต้องเป็นภาระผู้อื่นอีก ดังนั้นแล้วการไม่มีโรคจึงเป็นยอดปรารถนาของมนุษย์ทุกคน ดั่งคำอวยพรในแทบทุกโอกาสที่ผู้อวยพรกล่าวให้ผู้ถูกอวยพรให้มีความสุข อายุมั่นขวัญยืน สุขภาพแข็งแรง หรือคำอวยพรจากพระที่ว่า “อายุ วรรณะ สุขะ พละ” ล้วนแล้วแต่เกี่ยวข้องกับการมีสุขภาพดีทั้งสิ้น

ท่านอาจารย์โอ ศักดาจัดสร้าง "ตะกรุดอโรคยานิรามัย" นี้จากสุดยอดวิชาป้องกันโรคในตำนาน ตำรับของหลวงพ่อเนียม วัดน้อย จ.สุพรรณบุรี ประวัติความเป็นมาของวิชานี้มีมาตั้งแต่กาลเก่า ย้อนไปได้ถึงสมัยพุทธกาล ดั่งที่มีจารึกไว้ในบทสวด "รัตนสูตร" ในครั้งนั้น ณ เมืองเวสาลี ได้เกิดภัยพิบัติหนักถึง ๓ ประการพร้อมกัน คือ โรคระบาดร้ายแรง, ภูตผีรบกวน, และความอดอยาก ผู้คนล้มตายเป็นจำนวนมาก เจ้าลิจฉวีแห่งแคว้นวัชชีจึงส่งคณะทูตไปยัง ราชคฤห์ อันเป็นที่ประทับของพระพุทธเจ้าในขณะนั้น) เพื่อกราบทูลอาราธนาให้พระพุทธเจ้าทรงเสด็จมาช่วย

เมื่อพระพุทธเจ้าได้เสด็จมาถึง พระองค์ได้มีดำรัสให้ พระอานนท์ ทำการสวดพุทธมนต์ “รัตนสูตร” พร้อมทั้งเดินประพรมน้ำพระพุทธมนต์รอบเมือง ผลปรากฏว่าหลังจากนั้น โรคระบาดค่อยๆสงบลง ภัยพิบัติต่างๆก็อันตรธานหายไป บ้านเมืองกลับสู่ภาวะปกติดังเดิม เหตุการณ์นี้จึงถือเป็นหลักฐานอ้างอิงสำคัญว่า เมื่อเหตุปัจจัยถึงพร้อม อานุภาพแห่งคุณพระรัตนตรัยนั้น สามารถขจัดภัยพิบัติ โรคระบาด และอันตรายจากภูตผีปีศาจได้

มาถึงในสมัยของหลวงพ่อเนียม วัดน้อย (พ.ศ. 2416 – 2440) ในยุคนั้นได้เกิดโรคห่าแพร่ระบาด มีคนเจ็บป่วยล้มตายทั้งในพระนคร และหัวเมืองในภาคกลาง เเละเเถบตำบลสามชุก นานวันเข้าโรคห่าก็แพร่ใกล้เข้ามาถึงอำเภอบางปลาม้าที่วัดหลวงพ่อเนียมท่านจำพรรษาอยู่ หลวงท่านเนียมท่านได้เสกน้ำพระพุทธมนต์ประพรมโดยรอบตำบล, สร้างตะกรุดให้ชาวบ้านพกพา เเละทำธงพัดโบกปักไว้สี่ทิศในย่านวัดน้อย ปรากฏว่าคนสามชุกกลับไม่มีใครเจ็บป่วยถึงตายด้วยโรคห่าเลย เหตุการณ์ในครั้งนั้นยังคงเป็นตำนานเล่าขานถึงอภินิหารความเข้มขลังศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของหลวงพ่อเนียมมาจนถึงทุกวันนี้

เคล็ดการบูชา: ให้พกพาตะกรุดนี้ติดตัวตลอดเวลาได้ยิ่งดี หากไม่จำเป็นไม่ต้องถอดออก พกไปได้ทุกที่ ทำกิจกรรมได้ทุกอย่างไม่มีเสื่อม นอกจากนี้ยังสามารถนำตะกรุดไปแช่ในน้ำ เพื่อทำน้ำมนต์ ไว้ประพรมบ้านเรือน ที่อยู่อาศัย ที่ทำงาน และอื่นๆตามปรารถนา เพื่อขจัดและขับไล่สิ่งอัปมงคลต่างๆ รวมไปถึงพลังงานลบอันเป็นต้นเหตุของอาการเจ็บป่วย

The amulet that draws on the power of the Triple Gem and Buddhist chants to ward off diseases and illnesses, believed to arise from unseen forces (based on ancient beliefs that some illnesses are inhabited by spirits or supernatural entities). It also helps guide the mind of the wearer to be protected from potential future illnesses. For example, someone who normally eats raw or undercooked food may, after wearing the Takrud, naturally feel less inclined to consume such items.

The Buddhist saying, “Arokaya Parama Labha”, means that good health is the highest wealth. It is a truth more fundamental than any other, because health is the basic foundation of life and success. When a person is free from illness, they can think and act as they wish, accomplishing whatever they set out to do. But if one is constantly sick, they cannot complete any task and may even become a burden to others. Therefore, being free from disease is the ultimate desire of all humans. This is reflected in almost every blessing given, wishing the recipient happiness, longevity, and robust health. Even the traditional blessings from monks, such as “May you have long life, radiant beauty, happiness, and strength”, all relate to having good health.

Arjarn O Sakda created the “Health Guardian Takrud” based on the legendary ultimate disease-prevention magic, originating from the tradition of Luang Por Niam, Wat Noi, Suphanburi Province. The history of this magic dates back to ancient times, all the way to the era of the Buddha, as recorded in the “Ratana Sutta”. At that time, in the city of Vesali, a triple disaster struck simultaneously, a severe epidemic, disturbances by spirits, and famine. Many people perished, and the Lichchhavi rulers of the Vajjian territory sent a delegation to Rajagriha, the residence of the Buddha at that time, to respectfully request His presence to help.

When the Buddha arrived, He instructed Ananda to chant the “Ratana Sutta” while sprinkling blessed water around the city. As a result, the epidemic gradually subsided, the disasters disappeared, and the city returned to normal. This event is regarded as significant evidence that, when conditions are right, the power of the Triple Gem can dispel disasters, epidemics, and dangers caused by spirits or supernatural forces.

During the time of Luang Por Niam of Wat Noi (B.E. 2416–2440), a cholera epidemic spread widely, causing illness and death in the capital and towns across Central Thailand, including the Sam Chuk subdistrict. Over time, the epidemic approached Bang Pla Ma District, where Luang Por Niam resided. He consecrated and sprinkled blessed water throughout the subdistrict, created Takruds for the villagers to carry, and set up fluttering protective flags in the four directions around the Wat Noi area. Remarkably, no one in Sam Chuk fell ill or died from the epidemic. This event has remained a legendary testament to the sacred power and miraculous efficacy of Luang Por Niam to this day.

Instructions For Worship: This Takrud can be carried with you at all times, and ideally should not be removed unnecessarily. You can take it anywhere and perform any activities without it losing its potency. Additionally, the Takrud can be immersed in water to create holy water, which can be sprinkled in homes, workplaces, or any space as desired. This helps dispel and drive away negative influences, including harmful energies that may cause illness.
